The location is incredible for observing wildlife up close and safely. The hotel staff was friendly and took good care of us. We loved the warming beds and the afternoon tea time with coffee and biscuits.

I really got great value for my money at the Ark Lodge. The room was clean and nice, although a bit small. The location was absolutely wonderful, giving me a unique break from the typical safari experience. The staff at the lodge were the best, making sure my stay was as pleasurable as possible.

In terms of breakfast selection, I think there could have been a bit more variety.

We got excellent value for our money with a stunning location and a variety of wildlife right outside our room. The staff at Ark Lodge were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Breakfast delights, but the early start time of 7am was a bit of a challenge, especially with little kids. It would have been nice to have a later check-out time to fully enjoy the experience without rushing.

The animal viewing experience was amazing, especially during the evening. We were able to see many animals in their natural environment, which was truly unforgettable. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. Additionally, the food served at the lodge was of high quality and delicious.

The rooms were a bit small and lacked soundproofing, as we could hear noises from outside and other guests. It was also inconvenient that the plugs were located in the middle of the bed, making it difficult to charge our devices.

A unique way to see the animals, even if you are doing a safari put this on your list! The reason to go is simply to have a unique experience seeing the animals. The rooms are older and somewhat small but clean and comfortable. Almost all your time will be spent watching the animals.

Wonderful location! Multiple viewing decks for observing animals in their natural environment. Never crowded despite high occupancy. Staff strives to ensure a pleasurable experience. 3 floors of windows provide great views. Cool bar and good food.

The rooms at this hotel were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and nice views of the surrounding area. The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. One thing that I really enjoyed about this hotel was the delicious food served in the restaurant. The meals were well-prepared and had a good variety of options to choose from.

There were a few aspects of my stay at this hotel that I did not enjoy. the staff seemed to be disorganized when it came to payment.

Getting to the hotel was not easy, as there was incorrect pre-check information provided and the process of obtaining entry tickets was inconvenient. Furthermore, the rooms were a bit outdated and in need of renovation.

I recently stayed at The Ark Lodge for a short getaway. The hotel has a unique concept, resembling a cruise ship, with petite rooms and a lounge that overlooks a waterhole. The walkway over the Salient offers breathtaking views, and I was fortunate enough to spot elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and hyenas from the waterhole lounge. The food at the hotel was exceptional, and the overall services were excellent. The cleanliness of the rooms and the luxury feel of the place added to the overall experience.
